About William Cockrum
Professor Cockrum has won numerous teaching awards, including recognition as the top entrepreneurial professor in the nation in a survey conducted by Businessweek in 1996.  He has become a legend for a case-study entrepreneurial finance class he has taught for more than 20 years, teaching students the ins and outs of acquiring and sustaining the financing for organizations. He also is a Visiting Professor at Warwick and Cranfield Universities. Prior to joining the UCLA Anderson faculty, Bill Cockrum spent 25 years in financial services initially as a marketer and lastly as a CFO/CAO at Bekcer Paribas, Inc, a 3,000 employee investment banking firm.  When the company was sold to Merrill Lynch in 1984, Cockrum began his second career as a consultant to chief executive officers.  He serves as a consultant in a variety of industries on issues such as organizationstructure, strategy, marketing, finance, and administration. Shortly after starting consulting, Cockrum became a full time professor at UCLA Anderson, teaching students the business and finance stills needed to succeed as entrepreneurs.  Mr. Cockrum currently teaches entrepreneurial finance, business ethics, and investment management. He also is a member of the school’s Board of Visitors, the Anderson Alumni Board, the Advisory Board of the Price Center, and a member of theUCLA Foundation investment committee.

About Eric Mokover
An alumnus from the UCLA Anderson MBA class of 1980, Eric Mokover is associate dean, external affairs & executive director, alumni relations at UCLA Anderson School of Management, a role that he began in February 2010.  Mr. Mokover most recently served for 6+ years as associate dean, career initiatives, heading the Parker Career Management Center, and has previously held the positions of assistant dean and director of the MBA program, as well as dean of students and director of admissions at the School over his 28 year career at UCLA.  His variety of roles and the accompanying personal relationships and impact on UCLA MBA students throughout his career makes him an obvious fit for his present position.  He was a marketing manager at the Walt Disney Company prior to returning to UCLA. As associate dean, Mr. Mokover directs all aspects of alumni relations including serving as the COO of the 36,000 person strong UCLA Anderson Alumni Association.  He and his staff work in tandem with an active volunteer alumni executive committee and board to develop relevant programs and personal and professional development opportunities for UCLA Anderson alumni worldwide. Mr. Mokover also works closely with Senior Associate Dean, Al Osborne in supporting external and corporate outreach endeavors on behalf of the School. In addition to his service to UCLA Anderson, Mr. Mokover has served as chairman of the Partnership in International Management (PIM), which is a consortium of the world’s best business schools that facilitates international experiences for MBA students, encourages cooperation among faculty members and researchers, and facilitates the development of joint ventures and sharing of best practices.  He has also served on the boards of trustees of the Graduate Management Admission Council, which creates and promotes access to graduate and professional management education around the world, the MBA Enterprise Corps, which is modeled as a Peace Corps for MBAs and the Washington Campus which provides public policy training for executives
