<p>Ya se acerca el verano …y con él nuestra singular <strong>FIESTA DE VERANO del CLUB MIT de ESPAÑA</strong>, que tendrá lugar en Madrid el <strong>próximo jueves 1 de julio, a las 21:00h</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.mitspain.com/wp-content/uploads/bokado.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1528" title="bokado" src="http://www.mitspain.com/wp-content/uploads/bokado-300x199.jpg" alt="bokado" width="300" height="199" /></a>Como la mayoría ya sabéis se trata de una ocasión especial para vernos todos los alumni, y por supuesto  también nuestr@s significant others, en un ambiente más distendido al de los eventos habituales. Muchos pudisteis disfrutar en ella el año pasado…y os adelantamos que este año se presenta mejor aún, por lo que se ha animado a acompañarnos también <strong>Rod García, responsable de Admisiones de MIT Sloan</strong>.</p>
<p>Para ello hemos querido seleccionar de nuevo para esta celebración tan especial una de las terrazas más solicitadas de Madrid: <strong>BOKADO en el MUSEO DEL TRAJE</strong>. <p>Me complace comunicaros la  celebración del &#8220;Wharton Global Alumni Forum Madrid 2010&#8243; que tendrá  lugar en Madrid los días 24 y 25 de Junio 2010</p>
<p>Este Forum tiene  previsto reunir en Madrid a unos 400 líderes de empresas de Europa,  Oriente Medio, África y Latinoamérica, principalmente alumni de The  Wharton School y de otras escuelas de negocios líderes mundiales.</p>
<p>En  este Forum titulado “A Whole New World: Where Do We Go From Here?” se  examinarán y compartirán ideas de la evolución de la economía, las  perspectivas sobre Latinoamérica y EMEA, el papel de España en la  economía global y el crecimiento de las multinacionales españolas,  además de ser  una oportunidad única para hacer networking con el resto  de participantes del Forum.</p>

<p>Pilar Girón Dá¡vila, Director Talent Management,  Telefónica SA</p>
<p>Pilar Girón started her professional career as a  financial analyst at Beta Capital. After getting her MBA, she joined the  strategy consulting firm Booz Allen &amp; Hamilton (today Booz &amp;  Co.) as Senior Associate, in the offices of Madrid , Buenos Aires ,  London and Chicago . In 1996 she joined the Tabacalera Group (today  Altadis) as Director of Planning and Control of the Cigarette Division.  In 1998, after the merger with the French company Seita, she was  promoted to VP of Strategy of the Cigarette Business Unit, based in  Paris . In the year 2000, she became a consultant at Egon Zehnder  International, a top management consulting firm specialized in executive  search and talent management consulting. In this company, she was a  member of the &#8216;Talent Management&#8217; practice and she participated in  numerous project for clients in Spain and internationally.</p>
<p>Pilar  holds a degree in Business Administration from ICADE and got her MBA  from WhartonBusinessScho ol ( USA ) in 1992.</p>
<p>Carlos R. Alemany &#8211;  Managing Director &#8211; Spain &amp; Portugal , Korn/Ferry International</p>
<p>With  more than two decades of experience in human resources and executive  search, Carlos Alemany brings to the Firm extensive experience in  conducting senior-level assignments, including CEO positions. His areas  of expertise are Technology, Consumer and Industrial.</p>
<p>Prior to  joining Korn/Ferry in 2000, Carlos Alemany was a partner at another  global search firm. Before this, he was general manager of Spain and  Portugal for a leading Spanish recruitment firm, where he worked  extensively in a wide array of private and public sector environments.  Carlos Alemany&#8217;s career also includes experience as human resources  development officer with Citibank N.A. He began his career in an  engineering firm, mainly focused on industrial robotics. Carlos Alemany  was member of the board of the Spanish Naval Engineers Association for  10 years. He is also an executive committee member of the Spanish  Chapter of Transparency International and member of Instituto de  Consejeros y Administradores (Spanish Partner of the United Kingdom  Institute of Directors).</p>
<p>Carlos holds a masters degree in naval  engineering from the Universidad Politécnica in Madrid and a masters  degree in sales and marketing management from Instituto de Empresa.</p>
<p>Luis  Baón &#8211; Partner, Egon Zehnder International</p>
<p>Luis Baón joined Egon  Zehnder in 2008, and specializes in Financial Services and Industry.  Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, he was Head of Corporate Development,  Financial Control and Strategy for Isofoton (Bergè Group) in Madrid, and  before, he was Head of Corporate Development and Strategy of Bergè  Group in Madrid; From 1998 to 2006, Luis was working at Merrill Lynch,  first in New York as a Research Analyst and later in London in the  Equity Capital Markets, later becoming Vice President, US Research  Equity Sales for Merril Lynch in  Madrid; Founder &amp; Board Member,  Janiferal, Madrid.</p>
<p>Luis has an MBA from IESE Business School,  Madrid, and a Business Administration degree from ICADE Madrid .</p>
<p>Ramón  Gómez de Olea &#8211; Partner, Russell Reynolds Associates</p>
<p>Ramón Gómez  de Olea specializes in domestic and international senior executive  searches and assessments, with a particular focus on the technology,  industrial and energy sectors. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds  Associates, Ramón was a project leader at the Boston Consulting Group in  Madrid for three years. Previously, he was with Elecnor, S.A., the  Spanish Electrical Engineering Contractor, first as Caribbean Assistant  Area Manager and later as French-Africa Area Manager. Ramón served as an  officer in the Spanish Navy.</p>
<p>Ramón received his M.S. in  mechanical engineering from ICAI Engineering School, his M.B.A. from the  Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his M.A. from the  Lauder Institute of International Studies and the School of Arts and  Sciences, University of Pennsylvania.</p>
<p>Diego Pérez Benítez &#8211;  Principal, Heidrick &amp; Struggles</p>
<p>Diego Pérez is a Principal in  Heidrick &amp; Struggles&#8217; Madrid office and is a member of the Global  Technology &amp; Professional Services Practice. He has a wide  experience in serving clients within the management consulting, IT  services and technology assignments throughout Europe. He also advises  companies as a management consultant on organization, design, executive  assessment and human capital development initiatives. Prior to joining  Heidrick &amp; Struggles, Diego worked for an international recruitment  company as Head of the Technology and Professional Services Practices.  Previously, Diego worked for business consulting and software firms CMC  and Baan Business Systems, developing projects such as business process  reengineering and systems implementation for industrial companies. Diego  began his career at Deutsche Bank in Spain in the Corporate Finance  department.</p>
<p>Diego holds a degree in Economics and Business  Administration from CUNEF, ComplutenseUniversi ty and a PDD (Executive  Development Program) from IESE Business School.</p>
